Will I experience any problems forcing my Lumia 920 to update to Denim via developer preview?

omg omg omg!!! I got it to work!!! After deleting the phone and deleting sync off of bluetooth, I was able to call Cortana and it worked!! I tried it a few times and it worked pretty well. One time though it took Sync too long to connect and Cortana said "Sorry, didn't catch that." I guess that just comes with the territory of Sync being slow as hell lol.

Thanks guys!!

Just FYI- since doing the updates, battery life on my 920 has been despicable. Steady 5-10% (sometimes 20%) loss per hour as opposed to a steady 3-4% before the update. Looks like I'm living that tethered-to-charger life again! Thanks Windows Phone!

See if the battery stays that way in a few days. Things should improve, however also note that all things will age and eventually start to deteriorate in performance. Batteries are the same.

Re: Lumia 920 running Denim via developer preview

lol I soft reset all the time. Any 920 owner should be familiar with this. Often the battery will just start leeching when not even being used...soft reset.

I'm not leaving bluetooth on.

Another issue since updating is that the phone has crashed and automatically restarted twice since the update. The phone has done this maybe 2-3 times since I've owned it for 2 years!! It happens when tapping the back button when I have multiple apps open. Not sure what is causing this, or if the back button has anything to do with it. I'll keep an eye on it. Is there a way to revert using thew software recovery tool?

Well actually Denim and Update 2 has improved the battery life on my 920. Everything feels smooth, it did have some hiccups during the first week after update but it has settled out. Give it some time
