How can I edit videos in Video editor?

Video editor

There are a few video editing software provided by MS, When I open a video I don't see option to edit the video or apps to edit the video. e,g Hyperlapse video by MS , Lumia Moments , video optimizer for whatsapp ,

This is possible for photos why not videos ?

Is this some setting on the phone im missing

Tried this on 920 , 520 , 1020 ,1520

Just tried this now - editing the video is possible and is similar to how editing photos are accessed through the Photo Hub. Once you have a video in your phone in the Camera Roll, go to your Photo Hub and tap on the icon of the video. You should see a pencil icon at the bottom of the screen. If you've got Lumia Video Trimmer installed, you will be prompted to edit the video using Lumia Video Trimmer.


Microsoft Hyperlapse doesn't seem to be available for Windows Phone 8.1 at this point in time.

Please see image from Photo-hub no option to edit.. have Lumia Video Trimmer installed.

What phone is this screenshot from? Since I've got the L1020, it'll be easier for us if we both compare using the L1020.

Also, what OS version do you have installed? It's strange why there's no edit icon in your screenshot, while in my L1020 I can clearly see an option to edit.
