Use Office 365 Account for Windows Phone

Hello,

I already have a "Microsoft Office 365" account. Can I use this Account to login into my Windows Phone or do I have to create a new "Windows-Account" for that. I know I can create a Windows-Account with the same mail-address used in the "Office 365 "-account. But is this necessary or can I use the "Office 365" account as it is?
