    Nokia Lumia 830 Windows 8.1
    I received an alert this week that my automatic phone backups were not functioning ie no backups for a while.
    There are threads regarding this problem dating back years.
    None of the links supplied eg FAQ FA143958 etc appear to direct me anywhere.
    My settings: Off for Texts, Off for photos, videos, On for the others.
    Backup hangs at 22%.
    If I turn off backup for Apps, I do get a successful backup.
    But I would like to backup Apps.
    Why is this now a problem which I have never experienced before?
    No new apps installed recently, so why is there now a problem?
    Any solutions which I can access may be helpful?

    try removing an app at a time and attempting the backup - there might be an app that is causing the issue

    So I did join. Did try to post more details with dates of app downloads and updates that occurred. It was a normal post.
    Was marked as SPAM and rejected. Was told to email site support and include a copy but don't know how to do that.

    I tried again removing slashes between day month year and colons. Still no luck. So it seems I have been blocked for "questionable material". It seems I have questionable material? WHAT!! That's not who I am. This is distressing. I was seeking help in a polite manner. All I wanted was help. I can't remember ever feeling so insulted.

    forget the date added - it's not relevant. Did you try my suggestion of removing one app from the list of apps for backup and checking?

    Since details I attempted to communicate to you were considered SPAM and not appearing here coupled with the fact that Norton then reported that it had blocked a WEB attack I am choosing to have no further communication with Windows Central.
