How to get Windows Central app notifications?

I use the new Windows Central App (beta) on my Lumia 535. With the old app I had a notification of new posts on the lock screen. The new app doesn't do that. Is there a setting for this? I've looked everywhere. Now I have to open the app to see of there are new posts. I want to see this on the lock screen.

as the app is still in beta these bugs are normal. future updates will crush these bugs.
