Your submission is non-compliant. WTF?

Hi all,

as u might or not might know, I'm the dev of Twittone (a UAP Twitter client now available for phone).

I'm now at the 39th submission on the Store (only the last 10 where public available) and once in a while I get my submission marked as non-compliant say that the metadata does not represent my app.

How do you solve this issue?

I can't explain myself why this only happens once in a while and not at every submission.

But will this comment help to improve the app?
You could at least tell what is wrong or what you would want to be changed.

Basically you can post whatever you want but this site is trying to helping people with problems / questions and can not prevent posts like yours.
So I am looking forward on the day that you need help and get a similar reply as you gave here.

That's actually your opinion witch I'll respect.

Not everyone (luckily) thinks like you and I'm receiving useful feedbacks and reviews.

One objective aspect is undeniable: my client is actually faster than the official one.

You have no right to slate this unless you put YOUR time and money where your mouth is. Point us to your app and we will pass judgement on that.

In the meantime, be grateful that there is a dev adding to the store. There must be people who don't share you 'opinion', otherwise the dev would have ceased the app.

Twittone for Windows 10 PC/Mobile


I have downloaded this app and tested it out on my phone. Here is my impression of the app.

Design : Simple design with pivot for each feature on twitter. I like the fact that I can see my "lists" as pivot item
Speed : App speed is very good. All the posts load very fast.
Suggestion : Could add profile picture and profile header on top of the page in XAML



I am a heavy twitter user and tried the app just now. Posting from the app is quite simple, as the design is simple. The learning curve for using the app is almost zero for any user. Recommend the app for anyone who likes a light weight app with good loading speed.

Off topic: the paid version let you subscribe to users (like Gabe Aul) and receive real time interactive notifications on his tweets.

Hm, had almost the same problem today.
I got a

11.7 Adult Content - Description
Your app must not contain or display content that a reasonable person would consider pornographic or sexually explicit.
...
The app description contains sexually explicit or suggestive language

My app is about collecting "trading cards" - and there is NO single word about sex or porn or...
By the way - it is the same description as in previous (passed) submissions. I just reordered two sentences (put an important one on top) - nothing else.

I just guess there is a kind of "robot" (scan software) which checks resources / descriptions somehow.

In my case I first wrote to the given email about it.
Further (since there was a bug) I submitted a new version - and asked in the "Notes for certification" to point me to the "sexual explicit" parts of my description

I've had a very similar issue where the revision number in the version string was not 0 so it gave me that error. Seems like a lot of issues come up with that same submission failure message.

Just to keep this up to date...

Finally my app https://forums.windowscentral.com/e...apps%2Fstickers%2F9wzdncrdmn96&token=JTbPXqd6 was certified again.
Developer support contacted me and told me about the "problem". In the description is text like "...you can rename XXX.aaa to YYY.aaa..."
While in Austria nobody cares about such letter (X is very common as placeholder) XXX has "some meaning" in other countries.

I got the thing certified - and the gave me the tip "...to avoid future problems...use different letters and avoid XXX..."
