1020 Bluetooth problems with Windows RT

I was never able to pair my 1020 with Windows RT (tried both: Surface and Lumia 2520). It says: Connected, next second: Not Connected and that's it. I was waiting for software update, hoping it could help. But after installing Lumia Black, it is the same. It is not a terribly big deal - one can always connect through cable, but is annoying.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Unfortunately I don't think you are supposed to be able to connect RT and WP with Bluetooth :unhappy:

Memitim, what is your RT device? In the post you are referring to they say:

1) Confirm that your 920 is paired properly

But this is exactly where I am stuck. I am not talking about sharing. Just seeing my 1020 in the Explorer would do. But I cannot pair.

I have a Dell XPS 10 and a 925

Mine also disconnects instantly after connecting, seems it disconnects to save battery or something

I also can't see my phone in explorer, I have to use the Bluetooth icon in the system tray to send files to the phone.

Follow the rest of those steps and you will be able to at least send files to your phone

Well, see, I don't have 925 but 1020. But even more important, I don't believe Dell is an RT device. I only know 3 RT tablets out there: Surface, Surface 2 and Lumia 2520. So we are talking completely different OSs here. Even they are both called Windows 8.1, they are completely different.

Did anyone manage to pair 1020 with Windows RT device?

Memitim, you are correct. After reading the internet I discovered there are quite a few of Windows RT devices out there! I will give it another try tonight
