Check the how to install thread to do a proper installation of windows 10 mobile. Follow the recommended steps.
Alternatively, wait a few hours or even a day and try again. I had an error that no one else had but it resolved itself after a day

Which model are you using. Were you downloading 10586.36 or it had downloaded? Was it installing or it had completed installing and it reached the gears stage?

And were you upgrading from 10586.29 or from a previous build?

But my wifi and mobile data connection (arrow) disconnect when i download any app or to update my phone even in store when i click on check for update arrow sign disappears.please help

Have you tried hard before you start downloading the build?

I have build .29.lumia 535.when i download error occur but it says installation problem.i have also Said you before my store is not working,you said do a hard reset but i will wait for next build.

Have you tried hard reset, then download the build did that with mine.

I hard reset my 950XL twice, and still can't get .36 to show up in updates. I removed Windows Insider, reinstalled it, signed up again, and still nothing. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Before someone ask, yes I hard reset without restoring my backup.

I own a Lumia 640 and I updated a fe weeks ago to Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones (​10.0.10586.29) and a few day later I needed to reset the phone erasing everything. But now I have a notification of the update Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones (​10.0.10586.36) ready to download. For days now I am stuck at 21%. Any ideas without having to downgrade to 8.1 since my laptop is dead.

L535 on this build, yesterday it hanged thrice in 2-3 hours, it was connected to pc, all of sudden it stopped responding, no display, no power or volume key response, long pressed they power key to restart it, in few minute it froze again while playing video, thinking about reverting back to Windows Phone 8.1 :-s

No, there was no overheating. I was on this build since its release day, now back to WP8.1 because of low battery life and freeze / restart issue on W10M.

Downloaded couple of days back. Took ages to download finally up and ruining . Still slower than wp8.1 and few bugs here and there.

Edge seems to be superfast on my phone.

Check for updates again for the OS and update the apps too
