Even after update to last build 1586.71 and info's about repairing sensor core to work on my L930 motion data still not working. Anyone noticed that error is still present?

On my L950DS I have same problem. After todays' update od Microsoft health I can't see any data :/

I tried Microsoft health and Life tracker pro. Even in settings->privacy->motion I can't see that motion sensor can use this apps

Also try: Go to Phone settings, search on "motion." Two places should pop up: something like "Lumia Motion Data" and "Motion." Click on each of these and make sure both are enabled and Microsoft Health is listed as using Motion Data. That work?

One final thought: Uninstall Microsoft Health. Soft reset. Reload Microsoft Health. It's voodoo, but might help to load Microsoft Health after Motion Data, etc. which was updated, I believe, in .71. Good luck. Let us know.

I had the same problem on my 930. Did a hard reset and everything works as it should now. A bit of a pain to start all over again, but I am happy to get it working.

having this same exact problem for quite some time on a L630, both Motion and Lumia Motion options are activated, even in MS Health the Motion Settings are activated, but still unable to get the steps counter to work.

It's funny, because, I have MSN Health & Fitness app installed, the app itself wont run (because... MS Health) but I get daily achievements notifications for reaching x% steps goal.

My L930 motion data still not working. I made hard reset before 1 month because Hey cortana was not working. I do not want to do it again. Will wait next builds for fix.

I am having the same issue with my Icon and .71. I tried all steps as described above and nothing. Any other suggestions besides a hard reset?

hmm doesn't seem to be a problem with motion data, I have managed to get MSN Health & Fitness to open, needed to wait for the goal notification to appear, tap on it and it opens, then from within H&F pin the app to start, from there I am able to run H&F anytime I want, and it counts the steps in real time.

On the other hand MS Health was able to fetch the steps, BUT, an internet connection was required to synchronize (seriously MS?!?!?!?)
