10586 install hangs at 40%

So... 10565 had an issue with portrait/landscape mode on the Stream 7 but I did get 10576 to install and it runs fine.

10586, however, is hanging at 40% total (27% of the way through the driver installation phase). After the first failure it fell back to 10576 but the exact same thing happened when I tried again. Is anyone else seeing that on this tablet?

Same. I saw on twitter that the SD card is the problem so I'm downloading now and will try again, this time removing the SD card.

That did the trick - thanks again.

It's a surprisingly major bug for what is supposed to be a RTM version. I think it would be worth fixing that before the official release...

Well, if it's any consolation my Surface 3 did exactly the same thing. Unbelievable.

Well, add me in. 10586 hung at 40% on my HP Stream 7. I have a SD card. Will try again with it removed. Unbelievable sloppiness.

My Dell Venue 8 Pro did the same thing. It's restoring 10576 now, and thanks to this thread I've removed the SD card, so I'm sure it will work. Oddly, my SP3 did not fail (it is not on Insider, though), even though it has an SD card in it as well.
