14366 Breaks Everything!

After installing 14366, I can't do anything. Cortana won't open, the Start Menu won't launch, no apps will open (existing win32 programs work though), the Settings app won't open, Edge won't open..... Most things that I try and open give me a "explorer.exe; class not registered" error. I can't even open the Feedback hub to report a problem. I also can't roll back the build since Settings won't open. Please help!

restart the machine and try again
 
I am having the same issue. Previous insider builds worked fine. Now AI can't open start menu, open Edge, open Store. That "try restarting your computer" tip has got to be the worst t hing I've ever heard. You think that someone savvy enough to be running insider builds doesn't know to try and restarting?
 
I've seen this so many times on the production build. Thought it maybe of got fixed in the Redstone builds. I guess not!

Open Windows PowerShell as Administrator and put in the following:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

This will re-register all apps on the system. Use at your own risk, but as it's not working, I guess you have nothing to lose.

I done this on so many workstations of the last year and it works 95% of the time.
 
Surprisingly, this build has been a big improvement for me compared to the two previous builds.
 
Still have problems with the store. I check for updates and it says I don't have any. But I know the WC app has just updated.

So I look at the entry and it states that there is an update! Grrrrr...

Then I find I have loads of updates but checking for updates using the button does nothing!

I know... use the feedback app...
