So the 1520 is going to look like a giant Lumia (no surprised really)
I figured I might get used to the size depending on how big it is. If its a 1020 with snapdragon 800, that's an instant buy from me.
If its something the size of a note2....eh...maybe. I already find the note2 a little on the large size for a phone but I may take the chance on something that size. But how big could it possibly be?
Well I saw a Galaxy S4 Mega (6.3inch screen) at a store kiosk and holy hell you haven't seen big until you've seen this monster.
It makes the Galaxy Note 2 look downright small, which itself is a little big bigger than an S4.
If you guys need some kind of size gauge, I suggest you go see those and see where your tolerance is.

If the 1520 ends up being as big as an S4 Mega...that's just way too damn big.
If it ends up being as big as a Note 2....ok that's a bit more tolerable but may be too big to lug around.

Heres hoping they announce a 1020 with the snapdragon 800 internals.....or at least SOMETHING with the 9xx/1020 size with snapdragon 800 internals.
A 1520 could end up just way too damn big.

1520 isn't meant for people who just want an update 1020 or 920. It is in a different category. Is it for me? No, I have used big phones before. That said, it is being created to fill a certain section of the market.

There were already news here on WPCentral which covered this topic. The 1520 is going to be as big as the Mega.

I still don't understand the confusion on this device. It's a phablet (as much as I hate that word). It's meant to be big.

I think this very idea is difficult to understand for quite some people ...

It's difficult to understand because most people are used to see a new Nokia flagship smartphone in the end of the year but this year they will only have a phablet, no smartphone. It's like Nokia is missing something. I understand that... But Nokia is saving its next flagship smartphone for Q1 2014 and WP8.1.

Well, there is the Lumia 929 on Verizon, but I'll not even count that one. It's kind of a nitch device as there is no international version of it.

Nice pictures but I get the feeling that the 1520 is a little bit too tall compared to the Note 2. N2 is 151 mm and the leaked photo shows that 1520 is about 160 mm (<6%). In the picture it is close to 8% taller.

1520 has a .5" bigger screen than the Note 2...

So does the Note 3. So the Note 3 is 5.7" and so is this 1520? Interesting. Looks like the nokia is about 1/4" taller than the Note3 and same width? Maybe a tiny bit narrower. Cant really tell in the picture. How thick and heavy is the Nokia?

Of course, I guess I was a bit vague. My point is that the pictured comparison with the Note 2 is slightly off, if we are to believe the leaked exact measurements.

In the picture with N2 and 1520 together, the 1520 is shown to be >8% taller which would translate to >163 mm. The measuring tape shows that it is no taller than 160 mm.
