1520 pathetic in holding 3g signal?

Now dont get me wrong.i have checked with many devices ,same carrier.used an ipad , friends Samsung,a HTC all with same network provider.at the same spot all others showed atleast 3 bars of 3g network but my 1520 never shows it and only E appears!tried switching on and off and even a soft reset.
Is there anyway or is 1520 just pathetic in signal holding?

I have found that signal strength is much reduced in my house with my 1520, compared to my 1020. There are places in my house where my 1520 gets no network signal at all, whereas my 1020 would at least get 1 bar and would still be able to make calls. Have also noticed that when out and about, it drops to 3G from H/H+ more often.

Having said all that, I tethered my Surface Pro 2 to my 1520 on a long-distance train journey yesterday, and it performed quite admirably most of the time.

Real disappointment.i always thought nokia phones were top notch in their reception!
