1520 Screen won't swipe

Yesterday my start screen stopped responding. Can't swipe. Have tried a hard restart but proved fruitless. The search button works at the bottom of the screen. I can make the very bottom row come up but those truly do me no good. Phone is fully updated. AT&T is the carrier if that makes any difference. Anyone else seen this issue or better yet no a resolution other than going back to AT&T for service?

I have the same phone and sounds to me like a graphic hardware issue. It is still in warranty and they should repair or exchange the phone.

Try the Nokia software recovery tool....that may re download the software to get it working again
