What does the 2.25 D Curved Glass means? And in Lumia 1020, it says 2.5 D Curved Glass. What are the differences?

In terms of being curved, 2.5D > 2.25D > flat glass.
Simply put, 2.25D is more suited for larger displays, while 2.5D is superior for swiping.

Isn't the 920 2.5D?
As a side note, the curved glass is there for all the swiping that goes on. You have seen the N9 before, right? Curved glass is there for all the swiping in the UI.

Daniel says:
The 4.7” WVGA device brings some premium features to the otherwise low-end hardware, including a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, Gorilla Glass 2, 2.25 D curved glass (same as on the Lumia 920) and 8GB of internal memory (with expandable storage).

I'm not sure what the curved glass means, but it appears that the 625 has the same curved glass as the 920. New render of tomorrow

Exactly, when I saw that 625 has the same curved glass as the 920, it makes me wondering again what is the meaning of the D terms.
Just like WanderingTraveler mentioned, I think it is the term to measure how curve a glass/lens is. The D stands for Dioptre, if I'm not mistaken. Just found out about this.
The positive value means it is a convex lens/glass. Just like our beloved 920 display.
Here is the reference that I found: Dioptre

Corning gorilla glass is scratch resistant not anti scratch, that should tell you everything.
