2013 chevy malibu phone connection

I am trying to connect my phone to my 2013 Chevy Malibu. I have followed the YouTube tutorial but when I select phone on my link screen it comes up blank and does not let me select phone settings. Please let me know if anyone has had a similar problem and if so how to fix issue. Thank you in advance

As said, what phone do you have and want to connect and how are you connecting it? If it is Bluetooth for example, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on on your phone and your phone is discoverable and your car's stereo is in Bluetooth pairing mode to find the device.
