1) The ability to use speech more. On android phones you can do it in almost any place you can enter text. While we're at it, better speech recognition would be nice too :/

2) Directional keys! I don't want to select the whole damn word! I don't have a finger the size of a hair! I just want simple directional keys so I can go back and correct one tiny typo!

3) An intelligent marketplace. If I type in "data usage," I don't want an app who's exact name is "data usage," I want any apps that would monitor data usage.

Thoughts?

yeah.. I know.. I have an HTC Titan now and I came from the tilt2. Horrible phone, but it had arrow keys!

I just don't understand why they wouldn't think about that in the on screen keyboards.

If you want to place the cursor tap and hold in the text box and slide the cursor right where you want it.

Thank you! That helps! Would still be nice to have some arrows :/.

I also like how on Android you can use alternative Speech Engines. For example you can use Vlingo instead of Google and get better Accuracy and Faster Cloud Round Trips.

And yea, I noticed that there were so few places where you can input text via voice.

I packed up my Android phone cause I'm tired of carrying 2 4"+ phones everywhere and I want to try a month or so sans Android. I dunno how I'm gonna be able to live without my SwiftKey + Vlingo combination :( We shall see.

I would prefer not to have the directional/arrow keys. The more you add, the less space there is.

I do however agree with being able to search for keywords to find an app.

At first I would have agreed with the arrow key statement. But once you start doing the hold for the cursor and get used to it its fine.
