Finally, BBM has been released for iPhone and Android officially but as you're probably aware it is not on Windows Phone. While rumours are circulating that a Windows Phone app is in the works but I highly doubt that this will come in the near future, so my first question (which I think is quite silly): Would it be possible to create a 3rd party BBM client for Windows Phone?

My second question: Why is there no 3rd party Pebble app for WP?! It's certainly possible considering BB10 has a NATIVELY DEVELOPED client, why don't us WP users get one too?

It wouldn't be possible for any 3rd party to create a BBM app, since BlackBerry wouldn't provide those APIs to any outside developers.

The BlackBerry Pebble app must be an Android port, since Pebble's official site only lists iOS/Android apps.

Pebble has an open-source SDK, so it would be possible to develop a native 3rd party app.

There is a Pebble app in the WP app store. It is called Pebble Watch Lite. It is for controlling the music on WP8. An app that can do more is coming soon that will display Twitter notifications and appointments. WP8 still does not allow 3rd party access to incoming calls and texts so no go there.

Ouch. Wouldn't that nuke any chance of any smartwatch being full-featured on WP?
