Hello there next month it seems my carrier finally implementing 4G technology. I'm using 625 and stated it supports 4G at Nokia website.

Still some devices like Note 4 didn't support 4G here even when the public test hold. They said they use different chipset on that devices.

Is that case most likely occurred on my phone? My devices firmware stated Indonesia and it manufactured in China.

Can anyone check this?

If your device is carrier unlocked and you have a 4G capable sim card inserted into your phone, I don't see why you would not have 4G once it starts to roll out for you.

My Lumia 920 had no option to switch to 4G (I don't know about Cyan since I'm using the Italian firmware instead).

I understand some country variants of phone do not have 4G unlocked because of lack of carriers ability to provide 4G. This could have been a limitation for you.

Re: 4G is my phone support it?

What does the H stand for? Was this a former demo/beta phone?

H : HSDPA/UMTS ("3/3.5G")
H+ : HSPA+ ("3.75G")
It's not a test device or whatever. It's something to do with the firmware. My 920 had no option to use 4G until I flashed the Italian version.

The Lumia 625 DOES have 4G LTE onboard.
HOWEVER, it will not work everywhere as different networks use different frequencies- or "bands"-
What carrier is it?

My devices is Lumia 625H not usual 625 what I concern about this "H"

The 625H is a variant of the 625 that was cleared and certified for the Chinese market.
What differences between the 625 and the 625H (the normal and Chinese model) are not clear to me.

It's made for China, what that means, I don't know, just that it is different somehow.

Re: 4G is my phone support it?

my carrier is IDN Telkomsel according to local news :
Telkomsel Geser Pelanggan 2G Demi 'Karpet Merah' 4G | detikInet
most likely they going to use 5 MHz spectrum at 900 MHz Frequency

here is my phone detail
wp_ss_20141130_0001.pngwp_ss_20141130_0002.pngwp_ss_20141130_0004 new.png

and according to my guidebook
WP_20141130_003[1].jpg

it should work on GSM network at 850 900 1800 and 1900 MHz

the thing that I'm concern is the story of Galaxy Note 4. because my country has not yet implementing 4G technology when Galaxy Note 4 Released. it come with different chipset without 4G capabilities this was proved when 4G test was hold on Bali at Asia -Pacific Economic Cooperation Event in 2013.

I was concern about same thing happened with my devices. while the Nokia Indonesia stated nothing about this and there is no news about Lumia 625H 4G capabilities around so I'm not able to prove it.

what I'm able to confirm is this :
my devices run at 1Ghz Processor instead of 1.2
it lost ability in record 1080p Video.

I really hope someone can confirm this. if not is there any different if I try to flash my ROM with other country variant version (UK ROM)

The 625s in my country (Cambodia) do have 4G, since there's a switch in the cellular settings.

Don't talk about that. Before I lost control and curse you with some dark power.

Admin you can close this tread What I feared most has been proved.

Confirmed Lumia 625H RM 943 doesn't have LTE capabilities. I already put USIM on it but no LTE option on setting
