4G in lumia 930 india version ?

I am from india. I am interested to buy lumia 930. Just one doubt i have does it have the band for 4G internet here in india.?

It is only 3G. 930 doesn't have the antenna for the band used by Airtel and aircel. Am using it in Bangalore

It depends entirely on the services offered by your service provider I believe. If it is like the UK that'll mean 4G in cities and some locations outside, but most small towns and villages will be 3G or 2G only (if you can get a signal at all). There is always WiFi via your landline.

Currently, In India, only one operator (Airtel) provides TDD-LTE on 2300MHz (Band 40).
Soon, few more operators will provide FDD-LTE service on 1800MHz (Band 3).

From global specs of Lumia 930, I understand it supports LTE Band 3.
Is this support also there in Indian version of Lumia 930?
Is the hardware platform (including radio support) same in Lumia 930 for all countries(US, Europe, India, ....)?

Yes, the antenna is same in India as in Global variant. We have to wait for someone to use Band 3 as you mentioned earlier to use LTE. For now both Airtel and Aircel use Band 40 for which we dont have antenna
