Get a used Lumia 830 - heck there is an awesome deal on the Marketplace right now with a bunch of accessories. Or get a 1520 from Deal Fisher on eBay. Or import a 640 or 640 XL from UK or HK. Heck if you want to just get by for a couple of months a used Lumia 925 isn['t a shabby deal as well. Good luck finding a device that keeps you happy till MSFT releases some nicer phones in a few months from now - availability might be sometime next year*

I thought you mentioned the unlocked variant from Amazon? Besides the 129 and 99 are carrier variant prices, plus they can't be used on AT&T unless unlocked

Well the 129 version is with cricket which is att and can be unlocked.

The $99 one is with tmobile but hasn't been released. I am not too pressed about locked or unlocked phones though. The 535 was appealing only due to the fact it was cheap lol

I have a 535 sitting a drawer unused.
Wish I would have never bought it.

Mine is in the same place. :(
Mine came with the touch screen issue. I got by with that. Then, after a few weeks, the SD card reader went nutso. Can't install apps to the card now. In my situation, it's a nice looking, but useless phone.
I would recommend not buying it.

Guys, how can you compare the 535 with the 6xx? Yes the 640XL is appealing, or the 735, but, hey, I got my 535 for 79€, not 100 or 150!

Not a big difference in price for Europe maybe, but for a secondary device, which is dual sim, it's more than enough. Again, during holidays, it was so comfortable to use it that the 1020 was only used for photo. We even watched movies on the "big" 535 screen instead of the 1020 in the plane.

535 is a low-end device, a cheap one. 6XX and above are mid-range. If the OP looks for a cheap device, that is, 435, 532 or 535, 535 is the way to go (if and only if the screen is of new generation and/or repaired).

I agree with you. The 535 is a great phone. The design is great. The screen is a good size. It's not heavy. But, there are a couple of issues that are holding it back for me: Tap issue and the SD card issue. If those two problems were not there, I'd be using it all the time. This is all just based on my experience with it. I'm sure there are plenty of 535s in the word that function perfectly.

- 2 sensors are now visible at the top of the screen
- recognizes five points on the screen
Thanks Microsoft!

:unhappy:
Sad that our phones had to be laid to rest.

I really did like the form with the higher RAM level and the flash on the back camera.
Carried this phone with me a lot until I just gave up trying to type on it.

Besides I'd rather have an LTE phone.

Good luck with the search Micah...

I bought this phone because it moves better than android! Wp is more fluent! I do not care LTE! It works equally well with 3G+.
