635: Can't create folders on windows phone

I understand that you're supposed to drag one app on top of another to create a folder and I'm trying to do but it is not working. All the app does is slide over. In settings > about and it says:
Software: Windows phone 8.1
OS version: 8.10.12400.899
Model: NOKIA Lumia 635
(I believe its the cyan Lumia, or something.)

What's wrong? Thanks in advance.

You need to be on Lumia denim or/and have 8.1 update 1 installed. Try checking for updates.

You need Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1. Use the Preview for Developers.

Tap the Windows Store tile on your phone and search for App Folder.

Installing it, allows you to create live folders and pin them to the tile screen, then check mark any apps you want to put into the folders instead of trying to slide them in from the tile screen. Can also rename the folders, etc. :wink:
