640 Upgraded to W10 lost all phone, msgs, history

I just now upgraded my Lumia 640 single sim to WP10.

I have lost all messages, phone call history, and the whole phonebook.

As far as I can tell the only contacts are from my Skype account.

Tried import from sim. Nothing there, or nothing happened.

Help!!!!

go to settings >accounts and chekc if your MS account has any issues. Press the sync button to sync it as it contains all your cntacts and messages
Also check the message backup in backup has it set to show anytime

The sync button doesn't contain anything.

in accounts, does it have any errors?
I was writing in a hurry so my message was too brief.
Syncing means your acount gets updated with the latest emails and contacts are also downloaded again

Did you go to settings > update and backup >backup?

I had the same problem when I upgraded to WP10. I tried doing a soft reset and nothing happened. I ended up doing a hard reset and when the program got to the point when I get to choose between a fresh installation( with no data) or restore from my previous install, I chose the restore option. When my phone completed the upgrade all my data, messages and contacts was there.
