640 XL VS 830 : Camera

So, the features separating 830 and 630 XL are the screen size, internal storage and camera specifications apart from capacitive buttons and 3 HAAC mics in 830, correct me if I'm wrong. There's no doubt the rear camera with 3 mics is a world better in the 830 than the 640 XL in terms of video recording quality. However the 640 XL has higher a MP count. So if we count out the effect of OIS in 830 can still images produced by the 640 XL's zeiss only optics stand out against the zeiss-pure view combo of the 830? Photography is of major importance to me, however I would also like a big enough screen for videos and gaming, this being a secondary device consideration for me. How well would u guys say the 640 XL's camera stand out against the 830's?

Well there's not much that the 640XL has to offer over the 830. MP count is relative, and it would be wise to see the camera samples of the 640XL and compare it to the 830. But one thing I'd give to the 640XL, the pricing. MS got it perfect with these two phones, and I see the 640 as a serious contender to all midrangers in India, most notably the Moto G2.

So Lumia 640XL wins with the bigger sensor size - MP count - f-number/aperture. Lumia 830 wins with optics - PureView - slightly focal length - video recording. But we have to wait till there is Camera comparison between both to decide maybe 640Xl will win (the main camera options is there bigger sensor - more MP counts - f-number/aperture) as i found that Nokia XL has better photos than Lumia 535 thanks to it's software correction which make the images more bright, also put in your mind that Lumia 640 XL wins in Battery life - front facing camera.

The more I look at that XL the better the camera might be . The only think going right now for the 830 is the 3 mics and OIS . I think thy XL might just beat the 830 here
