720 vs 635

630/635 has a slightly larger screen than the 720, but no camera button or flash. These are the only notable differences to me. What matters most to you?

You ignored the 720's larger battery, the 635's arguably worse camera, the 635 being slightly larger and thicker, and the software keys on the 635.

Well I too thought that 720 is better but software specifications made me thought about 635

overall the 720 is better
cpu wise , a few benchmarks say lumia 520 is faster than 630, a few say 630 is faster than the 1020
id still get a 720 or 525 if i were you
