Just downloaded 8.1 update 2... In UK on simfree Lumia 635...thought it was just on Lumia 930...all completed ...different menus jump out at you...now for a play.

Runs very smooth like you have ever seen before....and you can pin settings to start screen.

This is not an OTA, it is prep work to prepare a phone to receive Win 10. No one is meant to do this and stay parked on a "GDR2" which has not been tested for stability and function.

Ohh..thats what i thought trouble is wp10...is refusing to show on windows insider app...just gave me this update and no other.so what do I do now? Phone running perfectly!!!

GDR2 is a nice update. But it is buggy. For me I have random black screens, slow photo app, and sometime my phone switches to silent on notifications. But safer than W10!

Has anyone figured out how to force this down either onto a 830 or 1520 which is currently on 8.1? I have tried updating via Windows Insider but both go right to 10, I have then downgraded them and attempted again but it never works

Supposedly they fixed this glitch the same night. :/
