8.1 update dropping my home internet

Since the 8.1 update hit my 1520 completely drops my home WiFi and I have to find and type the code back in every few days. An one else having this problem and a fix or how do I go back to 8.0 and I also miss the speech recognition on the 8.0 version.

Give us some more details about your home WiFi connection. Is this a router you set up yourself? If so, what kind? If not, who is your service provider and what type of equipment did they provide to you?
Speech recognition? What is missing in 8.1? If you don't like Cortana, you can disable her.
