830 in-call mic stopped working.

Click mute and then unmute whilst in the call. Fixed it for me (For the next few calls anyway not sure if it's permanent).

I had to use speakerphone for months before i thought to try the mute button. My guess it's a glitch caused by some update that turns mute on without showing that it is muted.

I believe the mic is on a separate daughter board on that phone that can be replaced relatively easily.

I'm also have an issue with the in call Mic not working. The weird thing is you can hear yourself in side tone but the other end does not hear you. I think the fault is something to do with active noise cancelling. I have done a full reset and had the battery out ect.
I did download and install the nokia care suite but I cannot get the data pack for it to work and put my phone into test mode (Model is RM1024). Does anybody have a download of it.

I am having the same exact problem with my lumia 830. Try soft/hard reset dozen times but nothing helped. even took it to nokia service center in Bangalore, India, but even they could not fix it. Damn! I even tried changing the following part, but didn't work. I have no clue what;s wrong with the phone and what exactly thsi can be fixed?
