The hardware specs are very similar, the camera is good on both, materials are also great, etc
The 925 is a lot cheaper, but we dont know when Lumia Denim will be releaded for it.
So, which one should I get?

If it were me trying to make this decision, I'd go for the 830. Yes the specs are very similar, but the 830 packs the quad core and the camera is a 10 megapixel whereas the 925 is 8 (I know not enough to really point out). Plus, the 830 has SD slot --- big plus. 925 has none. As a matter of fact I may buy the 830 when/if it comes to T-Mobile ...... to play alongside the HTC One M8. -_-

It would depend on your usage. If you need the extra storage, it becomes an easy answer (personally, I use 20-25 GB of my 920's storage, so 16 GB would probably never cut it). If the price is more than 25% lower for the 925, I'd pick it.

what about the camera:
830/925
10MP/8,7MP
Aperture size F2.2/F2.0
Camera sensor 1/3.4" /1/3"

which camera is better?

Aperture size for 925 being F2.0 would give it a slight edge in low light conditions.

The Snapdragon 400 have a more efficency battery usage and better performance (i could "prove" it when I compared 630 with 925 in Nokia Store), 830 have a better camera (not only MP, but better algorithms too), have wireless charger, SD card slot, bigger battery and the display is bigger.

But 925 probably have a better and more beautiful display (since AMOLED is much better than any LCD) and GPU is better.

Now I think it's a worth upgrade, indeed.

Aperture size for 925 being F2.0 would give it a slight edge in low light conditions.

But more noise too.

Don't forget about new algorithms too, better and fast autofocus, and more. Old Lumias don't have it.
