920 & 8x

So i now have both an 8x and a 920. Got the 920 as a warranty replacment for a failed BB. Both are awesome phones. I need a spare for work so now having both w8 phones is great. But i am torn on which one to carry daily. I like the feel of the 920 but the screen seems sharper on the 8x? Is that just me? The camera is clearly better side by side on the 920. Have not had long enough for battery test but with the wirless charger system in the 920 that is super handy in the truck.

I don't own an 8x, but I do have the lumia. I'd probably carry whichever one i felt was less likely to take damage. My lumia's screen is covered in small scratch marks just from my pocket, I guess not all have that issue though. Does the 8x have removable storage? That could be a decision point.

I guess just test them out alternately. I have an 8x and battery is really good, get about 10-12hrs for moderate and heavy usage.

I do agree the 920 is a better phone, but if it was up to me, I would have the 8x as my work phone and my 920 for everything else. Hey, you might as well treat the 8x as a work horse, it doesn't do as good as Nokia with the apps and camera and the 920 better suited for family events, concerts, theme parks, etc.

I like the 8x over the 920. Not that the 920 is bad, its a great phone. The screen is better on the 8x and battery life seems better also. Plus light and thin its more comfortable in your pocket. My son prefers his 920, but he uses the camera more than I do.

both are flagship phones. 920 has more features, while 8X is a better size. 920 does have slightly better PPI and bigger resolution..

8X has 341 PPI, 920 has only 332. Screen on 8x has better PPI that iPhone 4 retina and looks just excellent. I choose 8X over 920 because its lighter, screen smaller, better PPI, better design.
Lumia is not bad phone, but NOKIA shouldn't make it as brick.

You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 341PPI and 332PPI in a blind test, there's no way it makes a meaningful difference to you. Both the 920 & 8X have a higher PPI than the iPhone.

Some great responses and things to think on. Thanks. I never pocket my phone wouldnt last a day. Whats this about removable storage? The 920 can do that? The 8x cannot.
