920 stuck in reboot loop after update

I downloaded the 8.1 update and it was installing nicely so I left it on my desk. Then it reboots, and I thought "not long now".

But now it's just in a reboot loop. I see the cogs for a few seconds if I soft reset it before it reboots itself, but other than that it doesn't get past the nokia logo at the start.

Any one have any ideas? The phone has a full charge (in anticipation of the update) so will take a while to run out.

Give it at least 30 minutes to make sure everything is finished installing etc.

I noticed it stopped rebooting, and when I tried to turn it on I saw the low batter indicator.

I've just plugged it into a charger (usb not wireless) and it just came back to life and the cogs are spinning again.

Was crapping my pants for a bit as I could see myself having to buy a 625 outright just to see out the remainder of my contract.

I'll let you know if it successfully install this time

My 920 has been stuck for the last hour while my 1520 is alreast done wirh the update. Gettiny pissed. So mush stuff on my 920 i didnt back up

My battery was full too, but the reboot loop seemed to drain it really quickly.

So far so good, I'm now at migrating data (about 50% through it).

I'm not claiming success until I can get back to using my phone though. Will post again when I know more

The big update took around 1 hour on my 920.

Nothing bad is gonna happen. Just make sure the phone has enough battery juice.

Yes my 920 finally updated after about an hour and a Half. My 1520 did it in half the time

If the 920 takes that long I'll do it overnight tonight. My 1520 is in the process right now.

After the initial hiccup, I now have 8.1.

not sure what you can do. After mine ran out of battery and had a cold boot, the installation of the first update continued and it all worked from there.

lumia 920 rebooting continuously

HI,
My lumia 920 is rebooting continuously and I have tried pressing the volume down + power off button but it doesn't help.
Can anyone please help me in this issue.

Just do a hard reset bro. Will send everything to normal a state.
