925 or 820

Hi there guys!

Please help me out with this one. I have a Lumia 520 at the moment and I would like to upgrade it, but I can't decide between the 925 and 820. I know that the 925 has pureview and puremotion and higher pixel density, but mainly I am music guy and not so into photography. My biggest concern is the storage space. The 925 comes with only 16 gigs and 820 can be expanded with a microSD which I have already in my lumia 520. The 925 also costs twice as much as the 820. The lumia 820 has wireless charging built in and does not require a case.

Which should I choose? Is the 925 so much better than the 820? Does it deserve twice the money for it?

if Lumia 920 is available , go for it since it has 32gb on board storage and it has the same pureview camera (though it has 5 lens when compared to Lumia 925 6 lens , I don't notice huge difference ), pure motion hd plus display and wireless charging built in

Probably, 820's battery life wouldn't please you. It's really hard to get more that 4-5hrs if you're intensively using it for music/youtube/Facebook Messenger/browsing internet etc. at the same moment.

You can get a 820 for $100.00 on ebay- put a 64 or 128gb SD card in it and it would be a great phone for music. I have a 822 (which is similar to the 820) with the 8.1 preview on it and have no battery issues. The 8 mp carl zeiss lens camera is actually pretty good,much better than the 520. I would not spend the extra money on the 925 and limit yourself to 32gb if you use the phone for music.

Buy an 820 and a 2600mAh battery for it, the total cost will be less than the 920 and you get an sd card slot too!

What nobody is telling you is that the 820 has a crap screen. It looks nice, but the oleophobic coating on it is "weird" and it feels less smooth than the 925. It also isn't gorilla glass, but a "scratch resistant" glass that gets way more scratches easier than it should.

Also its only 4.3" vs 4.5" on the 925.

Plus, the "feel in hand" of the 925 is light years ahead of the 820.

The 820 is a really average phone, possibly the most boring phone Nokia has made in the last few years. The ONLY thing it benefits from is the SD card slot.

Yes scrappy battery life compared to even lumia 520. It has only 1 gb ram going in its favour against lumia 520. Otherwise it is scrap i bought that **** for 21209 rs that is almost 320 $.now repenting.dont buy lumia 820 if u want 1 gb ram even lumia 520 is good for the money u spent.:banghead::thumbdown:

Lumia 820 is average in looks nd battery is worst.all lumia 820 owners are wanting to fell into thier traps as they fell into that.

Enjoy your new Phone, any Lumia is a great experience.. I use the 520/925/1520 based on what I'm doing, where I'm going and my mood.
