930 - available memory

Hi!
Just read a german test of Lumia 930.
Nokia Lumia 930 im Test - Neues Smartphone mit Windows Phone 8.1 - SPIEGEL ONLINE

The test is quite objective and good, but they say the phone got 32gb and the OS uses 7GB of it!

Is that true? My Lumia 620 uses 2GB or 3GB (cant remember) ???

Ok, the people in the forum say the author probably installed maps or something beforehand, and didnt know that it counts as "system"...

There's got to be something wrong with that. You wouldn't be able to sell 8GB handsets with that and the L630/5 is out.

Current OS on WP8.1 DP is 2.5GB. If the Cyan pushes that up to 7GB I wouldn't want WP anymore. Neither would anyone else.

It doesn't. Maps are separate.
