Bump, im dying to upgrade my lumia 920. It has been a GREAT hone the past 2 years and I just don't have an obvious upgrade since im with ATT and will not go with the huge 1520. Can anyone confirm an unlocked 930 to work on ATT us? Even if the mobile web surfing takes a small speed hit

I can confirm that an unlocked 930 works fine on AT&T (no LTE, HSPA+ speeds which for me were around 12 ~ 13 mps). MMS and internet sharing worked fine. I had a 930 for about 10 days before sending it back. Too many problems with it. I ended up with the 830.

I just bought a 930 from expansys, what problems did you have with yours? I don't use the net much on my phone, only email, small web browsing.. but I do use lots of txt and mms. So I think that no lte will be fine for me.
is the 830 better for att?

Got hot with moderate use.
Horrible battery life.
Purple bleed on screen.

Dislikes:
- Too thick
- Too heavy
- Very slippery

830, to me, is much better.
- Doesn't get hot
- Good battery life
- Much, much thinner
- Much lighter
- Not slippery
- Removable battery
- SD card slot

I have the international version of the 830, so no LTE on AT&T which is fine for me.
AT&T does have a 830 that gets LTE also.

:)
