950 cellular reception

I'm really liking the 950 so far, however I suspect it isn't quite as good at picking up a strong cellular signal. I also have a note 4 and have to use the same sim in either device. It seems the note is better at regularly getting 4G on EE here in the UK than the 950. Has anyone else encountered this?

Note 4 could have superior antenna, just a hunch, or more voltage to the antenna, in my living room a get 4g yet in back bedroom I get H+ or 3g

I get better signal on my 950xl with the original MS provided back cover. When I use the Mozo brown leather one it seems to slightly interfere. More noticeable in areas like basements.

Weirdly, this seems to be solved. In order to fix some other strangeness, I had to reset the phone through WDRT and then restore from a backup. Since then, the 4G reception and speed has been a lot better. Odd!
