My delivery driver has 20 orders to do in 1hr 45 minutes! Insanity. He's about a kilometer from my house so I assume they are quite localised.

I wonder how many vans DPD must have, my driver seems to be delivering to a couple of small villages, with about 15 drops each so far...

Argos has tweeted me back, with a delivery expection of Friday. At this point, I think that I could walk into a car phone warehouse and pick up the phone myself.
My driver has delivered 1 to the local shopping center, and the rest have currently all been in an industrial estate just up from my road. Delivery 8/24. He's clawed himself back up to 6 minutes per delivery 
1hr 30 ETA. Should arrive pretty much as I pull up for lunch. Lovely jubbly!

My 950 XL turned up an hour ago - well done Carphone Warehouse and DPD - now just to get Argos to give me my money back!

Just got a text from the wife, your phone turned up i've just opened it and put it on charge for you. Can't wait to get back tonight.
Just ordered mine from CPW. Hopefully will get a quick dispatch. I just want to check everything is working like NFC, Wireless Charging and so on, then its going to get wrapped up for Christmas, as a gift from the wifey.
Just on the phone with Argos to cancel mine. Just got through to an advisor after 4 minutes so at least they have improved that. I'm back on hold as they are now trying to work out what has happened with my order. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be this difficult to order a device these days.
My daughter just picked up my phone for me and its white not black which is what I asked for so she's taking it back after all this waiting:-(
Got mine! Guess I will leave the waiting room now... Absolutely love it so far, Iris scanning was a bit slow at first but trained it a few times with and without glasses and it works within a second now. Runs rather hot (Like, really hot!) but I guess it'll stop doing that once everything settles and I stop fiddling Camera is pretty good

After chasing with up with Argos again, looks like their orders are shipping out either this afternoon or tomorrow, with a delivery for friday.

In the UK Microsoft Lumia 950 XL sim only deals & offers | The Carphone Warehouse have the white ones in stock, and may have black ones. I ordered mine in white yesterday around this time and received it at 12 today.

Think its fairly safe to say CPW are out of black. I ordered this morning and got a email today saying its on back order ...

FYI. One of the first things I did was order a Display Dock. They are still available, and available on the CPW bought phone (Not just Microsoft bought ones )
