A black screen

[Windows Central Question]

When starting up my pc today, my 2 monitors do not get a signal anymore and stay on standby. Cables are plugged in good and I can't start up in safe mode (screens stay black). Yesterday I saw a Windows update but I do not know if these ended up installing.

I have Windows 10.

Welcome to the forums. I occasionally get this with one of my monitors. I turn it off and back on and it works.

Yes, this happened to me this morning at work. I just turned the laptop off and on again and it worked.
