Hi Everyone,

I am a multi sport coach (Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, etc.) and I am desperatly searching for a real and copmlete coaching apps to help me with my tasks.

I need a calendar, a place where I can write or sketch notes/diagram on my practices ans games, etc.

Is there such tool?

You want a fully fledged "calendar" with that functionality or that functionality with a "calendar" not so fully fledged?

I spent a little time on Google and the only multi-sport app I saw was for Gymnastics.

I swear I think that OneNote would suit you though no calendar. Look at the pictures it shows at the APP Store. (blow them up full screen and look at the hand sketching)
I think you'd want a good 3rd party Windows Clipboard for diagrams that you use over and over to sketch on top of; I use ClipMate Pro at $39.95 and it's worth every dime.
Go TeamSnap for emails & texts for multiple players and teams and fees management, scheduling, etc. Free for 4 months then free or subscription. THAT'S the calendar you want !! They've got a video of it.

Peace. Alan

I need much more than a calendar... To make it sure... A calendar combined with a diary or an agenda where i can create multiple diary/agenda (one per team)

I use one note... the problem is, since it's not exactly made for that purpose, the layout is somehow... a bit confusing.

I coach about 8 to 10 terams per years, follow 1 dozen coach (teach, and monitor them)

I'm also involved with 4 or 5 schools....

I need something designed for it.

If I could only find a developper willing to put some effort on it, I'm sure there is a market for it (I did the research)

Thanks anyway

Well... I gave it my best shot. Honestly I didn't realize how deeply involved you were.
Big Point here - the thing about hooking up with a developer is the honeymoon is always great. The developer works with you for next to nothing at first because eventually HE'S gonna have a saleable product. After awhile it's gonna be hard for you to get him to make changes you really, really want or even get him to return your calls. And then you'll give up on him and you'll only have a half-cooked product. It'll hurt and be a wasted year or so.

Ok, either decide that you're gonna sit down with Google for 1-2 hours and follow some links around. The length of your query isn't as important as the precision - so don't worry how long it (the query) might be.

The LEAST you'll get out of this is a list of company names and possibly people too, that you can cold-call and lay it on them. Or pay me $185/hr and I'll do it for you :winktongue: Best of Luck to you.

Peace. Alan

I understand you are a developer... Can we speak in private : <edit: e-mail removed by moderator. Please use the PM system built into the forums>

On Note is ... very goog. i can sketch any play I want... I can type in anything, etc. It is very good. but the interface is not suited for that... Making it hard to work with. It is not linked with a calendar, etc.

Team Snap is good for communication... But that's the least of my concern, communicating. I mean it is good but not really what i need.

I need to be able to tell who did what on that certain game/practice ... Who was there, who did something I like, or not, etc. I need a powerfull ''hand writing notebook with a calendar linked to every event in there''.
