Adding a playlist from Surface RT to HTC 8x

So I'm trying to move a playlist I created on my Surface RT to my HTC 8X. It seems simple enough but I'm having trouble with it. I've got the Windows Phone app open and I go to the "Add to phone..." option and then select "Playlist." It takes me to all the folders of music that I have on my Surface, including the folder for Xbox Live music cache subscription music (alot of which are on the playlist). No where can I find the playlist, even though it is there in my Music app. Help?

I'm having the exact same problem with my Surface RT and Lumia 920. I'll keep checking around and will post anything I find.

Do you have both Windows 8.1 and GDR2?

I have a Windows HTC 8X phone and I have no idea how to import a playlist from my surface to my phone It shouldn't be this hard... Also, my phone says that there is no update to windows 8.1, otherwise I would gladly update it.
