Adding Exchange Server to 950XL Email Client Marks all Email As 'Read'

After about 1 month of adding our Exchange Server email on my 950XL I noticed all my emails were being marked as 'Read'. As someone can imagine this is a mess when my normal work flow depends on seeing what emails have not been read.

Is there a setting in the Microsoft 950XL email client which does NOT mark my emails as 'Read'?

Edit: I'd like to add that this happens without me checking the emails in the client.

I have my 950 XL hooked up to my corporate e-mail as well. Quick look under 'Settings' shows an option under 'Reading' - "Don't automatically mark item as read" which I have Off. May be something weird with that setting? Or maybe try deleting and re-adding the account, if you haven't yet? I've had my work e-mail set up on my 920 running Windows 10 for 6 months or so, and got my 950 XL set up several weeks ago, haven't had this issue yet. Hopefully you can get this figured out, though!
