Adding words ????

I have just got a Radar and can't find out how to add my own words or how to turn off the predictive text, sorry if I am being thick but windows phones are all new to me......

Highlight the word you want to add like you are going to copy it and click the + on the left of the suggestions

thank you for your help another thing that is puzzling me is when I type the letter u it always is a capital one and not lower case it shows a lower case one until I press the space bar then automatically goes to a capital one and I don't know how to stop it? Can you turn off predictive text? Thanks again ................

Sometimes I add a nonsense work by mistake. That might be the case with your "U" problem. Try resetting suggestions (settings>keyboard>typing settings.)

Anyone know to remove a single word from the suggestion without resetting the whole thing?
