Hi

I have recently got a 1TB Xbox one s with the controller and I do not know how to charge the controller

My controller is running on Duracell batteries which came with the console and I am not sure if I should keep the controller plugged in or buy more Duracell batteries (which is cheap)

Any advice would be appreciated

You can't charge the disposable batteries that came with it. You either need rechargeable batteries and an external charger, or an Xbox Plug & Play Charge Kit. It comes with a rechargeable battery pack that charges via a USB cable that plugs into the micro USB port on the front of the controller. They may be tough to find but there are 3rd party options, too.

off topic though but this is the reason i personally prefer dualshock controllers.

I just pulled my batteries out and plugged it in via a cable.

you can just replace the batteries or get an elite series 2 controller the best controller out there
