After all this waiting, their first new Nokia is...

Well, their first phone was actually the Lumia 535 from a couple of months ago. Microsoft isn't using the Nokia name on smartphones anymore, just for these feature phones, so it makes perfect sense.

Plus, this was covered on Windows Central not too long ago, why not link that?
 
There is always a time and place and a user for phones like these.
Might be ideal as a simple spare phone.
 
Contrary to popular belief, the Whole world does not want a smart phone. These will always have a place.
 
I think that's a really nice little phone, and a great middle ground between dumb phone and smartphone. I would expect that to do very well worldwide, and in emerging markets.
 
Is that even considered to be a Microsoft phone? I would love to recommend this cheap easy phone to my grandparents. Or young kids, if I had any.
