After GDR 1 update AT&T 1520 opens Cortana & Apps on own

I updated my 1520 to GDR 1 yesterday and immediately after it was completed Cortana openned up. When I closed it it did opened again and continued to do so every time I closed it. I restarted the phone and the problem continued, but then other apps started opening up on their own and the phone has become unusable. Doing a reset of the phone also has not helped. My Lumia 1020 does not have this problem.

I got that isht happen before, cortana would open up and music would pause, skip, etc. by itself, it happened only while using my Nokia Earphones (that came with L920) and the screen touching my hands or facing my skin inside pants pockets... #MESS

the earphones sounded flawlessly making it even more annoying.

I didn't even have bluetooth on when it happened. It got worse after I downgraded to get the official Cyan update. Everything opens on it's own for no reason and I even did a reset to factory settings.
