after installing Windows 10 my fan runs a lot

I have an HP Pavilion, after installing Windows 10 my fan runs a lot to the point is it annoying and distracting! Any suggestions??

Try installing hp coolsense from the hp support assistant

Happens to me.. Been happening since the preview... You just get accustom after a while I guess. lol

Using a dell BTW.

While Windows 10 was designed to be efficient, it may take some additional system resources, as compared to Windows 7 or 8 installed previously on your PC, and therefore, may cause more heat, which causes the fan to cycle more often.
