It's a free upgrade to full Win 10 so that doesnt really matter. And I bet you that 1/2 the people that have laptops simply use it for email, web browsing, YouTube, online banking, etc. They really don't even need anything else.

Free for students, free for everyone else for the first year, and after that free for those of you who roam the seven seas looking for booty arrr (or 49 usd, which is a fair bit cheaper than a regular license for pro)
