Alarm Volume

Hi

Is there any way to change the volume of the alarm in the standard Alarms app?

I'm a light sleeper and it's way too loud at the moment.

i dont think you could, have you tried third party alarm apps?
If all else fails you could try using a soft song clip in your own music library,
crop it via ringtone maker app (so it will appear as one of your tone choices for alarms) and then set that tune as your alarm. Hope this helps.
