All browsers on Surface Pro 4 shows mobile/phone versions of websites

When I am browsing websites using my Surface Pro 4, the browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) shows the mobile/phone versions of the site instead of the full desktop site. Is there any fix for this?

Are you using a metered connection? That's about the only way I can think of that might force a mobile view (other than user agent strings, but those would be browser-specific)

A lot of websites these days no longer have mobile versions, but have one main site, where their layout adjusts based on the browser "size" (resolution). Make your browser windows wider and see if that makes a difference.

What he said! It's called responsive websites. Chrome, and others default to a size equal to " mobile " resolution. However, sometimes, it'll even reditect you to the mobile version, just by name. Like, m.discover.com, it's still discover, just with a responsive mobile theme.
