I think this thread goes in this category... If it doesn't, please advise/move or whatever(as you can see I'm new here
).
So, did nothing out of the ordinary today, just the usual texting, taking photos, playing some games etc. throughout the day. Unlock my phone, go to play some music (from the default music app) annnddd poof. It would not load any of my music as it 'could not be found'. Tried to play music from other music players and nothing. So I go to storage sense to check to see if my music is still there on my 64GB microSD card. And it isn't. Neither are any of my videos or photos(I'm not sure if I had any data in the other categories beforehand). Could not find anything with the new file manager, USB connection, or by taking the SD card out and putting it in my PC and Mac. All artist folders are left in the music directory with nothing except folder.jpeg(album artwork) in each folder. I never took my SD card out and it has never happened before. It's okay because all of my photos and videos are uploaded to OneDrive (Thank God for the auto-upload feature), and the music is easily replaceable. Has this ever happened to anyone? Is there a solution that would be easier/quicker than adding all of the content back onto my phone? Or any idea as to why it happened? Thanks.
