All my contacts are gone?

I just installed Windows 10 Mobile build 6230.59 and the only huge issue I'm noticing is that my contacts/phone book is totally empty. Also, when I open my calendar, my events that I've created are missing. I know this kind of stuff is stored on my Microsoft account, so I'm not able to figure out how to get it to sync.

To force a manual sync, you can simply open the Outlook Mail and use the sync option there (meaning: check for new email). This usually also synchronizes your contacts and calendar. I do this all the time if I want my calendar entries to be synchronized immediately after I added them on my computer.
